You may do this shop any time in between the start date and your due date. The day you select to do the shop will automatically become your due date; however, you may do it earlier than that. This shop can be done anytime the location is open according to Google and Apple maps. Please verify this before going, because some locations have different hours.
You can shop from opening to closing time.
🚨 IMPORTANT: We are conducting these shops on behalf of the manufacturer. Sometimes a location will close without the manufacturer being notified. Because we cannot bill for closed locations, please verify the location is still operating (check Google) and confirm its current hours before proceeding. We cannot compensate for visits to closed locations.

For a 12-year-old beginner, I'd start by showing you this youth model.
Okay, thanks. That does look a little small though — he's been growing so fast lately and is already the tallest in his class. Would this still be the right place to start, or what would you recommend?
Actually, I do need to be upfront with you — riders under 16 are only supposed to ride vehicles designated for their age group. We legally can't sell an adult-sized ATV knowing it's going to be used by a child. It's not just a recommendation, it's about keeping him safe and staying within the guidelines. So for a 12-year-old, we'd be looking at youth models regardless of his size.
That makes sense, I didn't realize there were actual rules around that. How hard is it for a kid to learn to ride one of these? I've never ridden one myself, so I wouldn't even know where to start with him.
Is there somewhere he could take lessons or get some kind of training before we just turn him loose on it?
Besides a helmet, is there anything specific he'd need to wear when he rides?

- Never ask for a Safety Alert letter — only note if one is offered.
Audio Record Shop
Where legally permitted, please audio record your shopping experience when purchasing models for your 12-year-old. Always check your state’s two‑party consent laws before recording.
